Jujutsu Kaisen 0 director Sunghoo Park has revealed a key detail about a certain decision in Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto's emotional scene. The fan-favorite characters voiced by Yuichi Nakamura and Takahiro Sakurai made an appearance in the prequel film to the 2020 anime series. Voice actors Kaiji Tang and Lex Lang provide the voices for the two sorcerers in the film and series' English language dubs.
While Jujutsu Kaisen 0 breaks away from the story of the series' main protagonist, Yuji Itadori (Junya Enoki), in favor of exploring the side-character Yuta Okkotsu (Megumi Ogata), the film features many familiar faces from the main series, including powerful Jujutsu sorcerers Gojo and Geto. While Gojo mentors Yuta after preventing his execution, Geto hopes to use the boy's cursed spirit Rika (Kana Hanazawa) to kill non-sorcerer humans. After a tense, high-stakes war of sorcerers, Geto is seemingly fatally wounded and killed by Gojo, but shares one final moment with Gojo, revealing the two to be former friends. With Gojo and Geto seemingly having one final interaction with one another before Geto's death, director Park has revealed an intentional choice made within the scene.
