Momentum Pictures has dropped a brand-new teaser trailer for Blumhouse's latest horror film DASHCAM from the director of the 2020 breakout hit Host. Helmed by Rob Savage, DASHCAM centers around a musician named Annie (played by Annie Hardy), who travels to the UK to get away from the COVID-19-related lockdowns in the United States. She visits her bandmate Stretch (played by Amer Chadha-Patel) and continues to live-stream her journey for thousands of viewers as sinister forces come knocking and take her on a detour.
Now, a new teaser trailer for DASHCAM has been unveiled by Momentum Pictures, highlighting the computer-screen horror style, which was also utilized to great effect by Savage for his previous venture, Host. The short teaser follows Annie and Stretch in their car as it shows footage from their dashcam of an old woman named Angela as she puts herself in the car's way. As Annie slowly begins to get out of the car and make her way to help Angela, the video is being watched by Annie's fans as their comments are displayed on the left side of the screen, pleading with Annie not to get out of her car.
