Kurt struggled all season long with deciding which woman he wanted to be with, but in the end, his insecurities around Carolyn's civil relationship with her ex-husband got the best of him, and he went with Amanda.
Immediately after the finale aired, news broke that Kurt and Amanda were no longer together, and both Amanda and Carolyn were ready to share their sides of the story. According to both women, Kurt had a lot of insecurities and growing up to do that made it hard for either of them to be with him.
