It Takes Two studio Hazelight is teasing a new co-op game, again published by Electronic Arts’ EA Originals label.
On Thursday, creative director Josef Fares teased on X : “Getting a lot of questions about the next game. Here is a tease. It is a BRAND NEW IP called S**** ******N. Can’t wait to show it soon”.
This post was then quoted by the official Hazelight account, which posted a redacted image of a script, with various notes and post-its. The phrase, “co-op” can be clearly seen at the top of the image, suggesting the studio will continue the gameplay theme of its previous titles.

In April, Hazelight teased that its next game could be announced later this year . In a post on its official X account, the studio noted that its 10th anniversary would be in November, and that while it will be looking back at its previous achievements in the near future, it will reveal “new (real good) stuff” later in the year.
Hazelight specialises in co-op adventures, with both its releases to date – It Takes Two and A Way Out – only playable in two-player co-op, with no single-player mode available.
In an interview with VGC back in 2022, Hazelight founder Josef Fares discussed the studio’s next game.
“We’re making good progress, but there’s a lot more to do,” Fares told us at the time, saying it would be “a surprise in a good way” and adding: “It’s definitely going in the right direction. And it’ll be something really fucking cool.”
