The original Dead Space is an iconic title from the seventh generation of consoles. Building on the over-the-shoulder combat from Resident Evil 4 (that revolutionised its respective series), it showed what could be done with sci-fi horror — much like Alien did with movies in the '70s, come to think of it.
The series seemingly came to a halt after Dead Space 3 in 2013, but on Friday 27th January, the first game is getting a revamp with the release of its remake.
