Apple hosted its annual developer conference WWDC 2022 a few days back on June 6 and iOS 16 was the highlight of the keynote at the event. The new operating system has been introduced with a slew of features from a customizable lock screen to upgrade message, mail apps, translation feature to camera app. The new software update to iPhones has been released for beta testers and is speculated to arrive around the world sometime in September 2022. Among the many advancements introduced, the new translation feature to the Camera App may become your favourite new feature. This will allow you to translate signs, packaging, and more in real-time by using the camera app and it applies to iPhone 13, iPhone 12, iPhone 11 and other iPhones too. Know how you can use it.
Using the translate feature is pretty easy. All you have to do is just open up the Camera app on your iPhone and point it at the text you want to translate similar to the way you scan any QR code. Now, tap on the text selection button in the app to select the detected text, and choose the translate option to get an instant translation. The Google Translate app already has a similar feature where you can use an in-app camera to translate whatever text you want.
