With the launch of 5G in India, people are preferring to buy 5G capable devices in order to enjoy the service. But the question is, when you have a wide list of options to consider, it becomes difficult to decide which phone to go for. According to a latest report by Ookla, the iPhone 12 5G is the most popular 5G-capable device in the Indian market. The report also informed that in its survey, 51 percent of survey respondents already had smartphones supporting 5G, while the top smartphone vendors in the market are Samsung (31%), Xiaomi (23%), Realme, and Vivo.

It further informed that Jio will launch an Android-based 5G phone in partnership with Google in 2023, repeating the go-to-market strategy it used when entering the 4G market. In the meantime, Jio is working with smartphone vendors to ensure that consumers can access its 5G SA network.
