Lies of P just got announced for Gamescom's Opening Night Live. This, however, was known to us shortly before host Geoff Keighley confirmed the news, thanks to an insider taking a very unique approach to leaking industry info.
Twitter user The Snitch, an insider whose recent scoops include the Crisis Core Reunion reveal, left fans an incredibly cryptic clue earlier today. 27 seconds of morse code was shared to their account in the early hours of Saturday morning, leaving many followers to frantically try and decipher what it could possibly mean.

Those who were able to translate the message found that its true meaning wasn't exactly clear either. When translated, the video is saying: "The wise man say, you'll find your way."
Understandably, this just left many fans even more confused. However, when you search for this phrase, you'll find that it comes from a 2008 Kanye song, Pinocchio Story. And of course, this made it very clear what The Snitch was leaking: more Lies of P news soon.
And true enough, The Snitch was right once again. Just hours later, Keighley revealed that Lies of P gameplay will be shown off during Opening Night Live, August 23.
A new gameplay trailer for Lies of P has been anticipated for some time, given that it seems to be inspired by the ultra-popular FromSoft title, Bloodborne. The devs have actually said that this "wasn't intentional", but it's easy to see why many still make the comparison.
Lies of P doesn't currently have a release date, and it isn't expected until some time in 2023. With any luck, we'll get a better idea of when it will be with us during its Opening Night Live appearance - and hopefully not via morse code
