You might remember your first encounters with the train in during Chapter 5 of the main quests, where you're interacting and working with Pieceys. During these quests, you see broken parts of a train before you arrive at the functioning train, leading to a sequence where you go through obstacles as you try to reach the engine car before learning that you have to disconnect that car to save the rest of the train. So, figuring out how to find and ride the train after that sequence might not be very clear.
As you might expect, you have to complete the train section of Chapter 5 before you're able to return and take joyrides on the train. So, if you haven't reached that point yet, continue the main quests until you accept and complete the repair sequence that begins with the quest "." Once that's done, head to the Choo-Choo Station Old Platform Warp Spire and speak with Blooming Flora, who's located slightly to the west of that spire. This is also where you can hop on the train when it's repaired and ready to go.
Blooming Flora begins the "" quest, which is what you need to complete in order to ride the train again. Your first task for this quest is finding parts at the repair station. Luckily, you canuse the Choo-Choo Station Repair Station Warp Spire and find the pieces you need to thesouth of the spire in the building by the tracks.
