In her recent memoir, I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette McCurdy from iCarly and Sam & Cat is making her bad experiences on set known and digs deep into her experiences with disordered eating that stemmed from her abuse during her early childhood. One of the main excerpts from the memoir that is receiving major attention is the inappropriate behavior McCurdy has claimed she faced at the hands of “The Creator,” who many are assuming to be Dan Schneider. McCurdy claimed that during her time working under “The Creator” he pressured her to drink underage, massaged her while on the job, and even photographed her in a bikini during a Nickelodeon wardrobe fitting. She also went on to reveal that she was offered $300,000 by Nickelodeon for her silence about what she endured, which she declined.
