Apple iPhone 14 Pro's bigger camera bump has been one of the most talked about upgrades of the new lineup. While the iPhone 14 Pro has arrived with major upgrades, its camera bump is reportedly hampering its wireless charging capability. According to a recent report by GizmoChina, several users have been complaining of this issue in several forums. The users have claimed lack of compatibility between wireless chargers and the iPhone 14 Pro due to the oversized camera bump.
Though the cameras come with enhanced features, users have reported uncontrollable shaking while they try to use third-party apps such as TikTok. However, that problem was soon fixed.
Now, users have shared that most magnetic chargers struggle to hold the phone in place for charging. Also, no such complaints have been reported for iPhone 14 Pro Max or the iPhone 14.
That's not all, another problem has been reported by iPhone 14 Pro users. They have complained that their iPhone 14 Pro sometimes restarts while being charged via either MagSafe or Lightning. The handset reportedly shut off while charging. One of the iPhone 14 Pro buyers tweeted, “I'm glad my iPhone won't be paid off until November so it gives Apple time to fix their shit with the iPhone 14 Pro. I'm shocked how many issues they are having with vibrating cameras, restarting, and who knows what.” Another user shared, “My iPhone 14 pro max makes this weird noise when I plug it into the charger. This started just today and it's so annoying it keeps buzzing every 30 seconds while charging.”
Though there are no words from Apple on this, we hope Apple will soon bring an update to resolve these issues.
