Hugh Neutron could be making his long-awaited fighting game debut as early as next week, according to the Nintendo Eshop. The store page for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl now shows a release date of August 5, 2022 for the Hugh Neutron Brawler Pack.
There's no confirmation of this on Nickelodeon All-Star Brawls' socials, but it bodes well for fans who have been patiently waiting for the new fighter for months now. Hugh is set to come to the game complete with voice acting, courtesy of his Jimmy Neutron show actor, Mark DeCarlo.

This revelation was spotted over on the Nick Brawl subbreddit, with the Nintendo storefront clearly showing a release date of August 5 for Hugh Neutron's DLC pack. It's worth noting that Steam hasn't updated the release date for the next DLC pack, but it doesn't appear to be advertising upcoming releases at all.
As you can see in the image, there's a launch date listed for Rocko's Brawler Pack too. However, December 31 is a commonly used placeholder date, so it's unlikely that this is when it will actually launch.
If Hugh really will be added to the game next week, then it comes not a moment too soon. As we covered yesterday, the stats for Nick Brawl look pretty dire. The player count on Steam is repeatedly dropping below ten, with various updates doing little to keep fans around. While we don't have the figures for other platforms, fans have been complaining of long wait times to get into online matches - a far cry from the state of the game at launch. Many are calling the game's multiplayer "dead", so with any luck, Hugh finally being added will give the platform fighter a much-needed boost.
