Hopping Skewers is a Dango mechanic introduced in Monster Hunter Rise's new expansion, Sunbreak. Similar to the Dango Tickets, Hopping Skewers are able to affect the strength and potency of beneficial buffs featured in a serving of Dango. Furthermore, the chance percentage of the Hunter acquiring each Dango Flavor's buff is noticeably reduced.

Fortunately, Hopping Skewers and Dango Tickets can be activated together in the same meal. When both mechanics are active, players will still receive the two buffs and a single buff, yet the chances of success are increased, thanks to the ticket. Naturally, the percentages will still be lower with Hopping Skewers active, but the outcome certainly has a higher likelihood
