Google has been working on a dark mode for Chrome OS for a while now. It has also been available to try, but to do so, users will have to enable a flag. However, the experience has not been smooth. Nevertheless, it seems Google has ironed out all of the kinks as the feature is now available to all users and accessible via clicking a button. Alongside a dark theme, Google has also included some new features, including a proper light theme and new wallpapers and screensavers.

To turn on Dark Mode on a Chrome OS device, confirm that the device is running Chrome OS version 104 or later. To do this, click on the clock at the bottom of the screen, and it should open the Quick Settings menu. Next, click on the gear icon.
