If you want to do damage at a safe distance, you'll want as much ammo as you can get.

Lords of the Fallen provides you with tons of unique ways to approach combat, but regardless of what style of fighting you prefer, you'll always have at least some type of ranged capability thanks to the ammo meter. Whether you use bows, grenades, or throwable weapons like hatchets or knives, you can use these items until your ammo runs out. If ranged options are important to you, here's how you can increase your ammo capacity.
Increasing your ammo capacity in Lords of the Fallen requires you to invest points in Endurance and/or Vitality. Your Endurance stat increases your stamina meter and carrying capacity, while your Vitality stat increases your total health and carrying capacity. Since these are both extremely important on almost any build, you should naturally extend your ammo capacity as you play through the game normally.

Now Playing: LORDS OF THE FALLEN — Official Gameplay Overview Trailer
It takes quite a hefty stat investment to get a truly impressive amount of ammo. As such, at the beginning of the game, your ammo bar will feel pretty limited, only allowing you to use a few ranged attacks before depleting. Luckily, you should find plenty of Ammunition Pouches while exploring, which you can use to refill a bit of your ammunition. If you run low, though, you can also buy unlimited amounts of the these consumables at Stomund, Captain of the Fidelis in Skyrest.
