If you’re ready to jump on the foldables train, Samsung just announced its next-gen Z Flip and Z Fold smartphones, both of which are available to pre-order from the major carriers now. They arrive in stores on Aug. 26, as does the new Galaxy Watch 5.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 starts at $999.99, while the Z Fold 4 starts at $1,799.99, but you don’t have to blow your entire paycheck on Samsung’s latest, thanks to carrier trade-in and new-line deals. Here’s how you can upgrade your phone without breaking the bank.
If you pre-order the 128GB Galaxy Z Flip 4 or 256GB Galaxy Z Fold 4, Verizon will bump you to the next storage tier (256GB and 512GB, respectively) for free.
The carrier is also teasing up to $800 off either phone with a trade-in, provided you’re on a qualifying 5G Unlimited plan. That’ll be applied over 36 months as a bill credit, meaning you’ll be responsible for the whole price if you ditch Verizon in the interim. If you’re switching from another carrier, Verizon is offering a $200 Verizon eCard.
Need some accessories? Verizon is offering 50% off select Samsung phone cases and 25% off select Samsung chargers.
