The Apple Watch rarely gets a new watch face but now there's an opportunity to enjoy the latest look, the Unity Lights watch face, while joining in on Apple's celebration of Black History Month. Apple occasionally releases new watch faces that are themed for notable moments in history or big events. Along with the new watch face, a new Unity Lights watch band was also released.
The Apple Watch makes a great fitness tracker and its health management tools are among the best. An extra bonus is that it looks great on the wrist and is a proper fashion accessory with a variety of watch bands available. Besides solid colors, Apple produces multicolor bands and themed bands. Apple recently announced that it's celebrating Black History Month, spotlighting Black voices in Apple Music, Fitness+, Books, and most of its other services. To join in on the celebration Apple Watch users can add the new Unity Lights watch face, which Apple says is designed using 2D ray tracing, "a technology never before implemented for a watch face." It looks pretty cool, like a sunrise or sunset in green and red over shifting mountain silhouettes formed by the hands of the watch. To get the new Unity Lights on an Apple Watch, simply open the Watch app on the paired iPhone, tap the Face Gallery tab, and the new face should be right at the top with an Add button for easy access.
Like any other face on an Apple Watch, Unity Lights can be customized by pressing and holding the face for a few seconds. An option will appear to share or edit the face. Tapping
