There's an opportunity to collect an Alolan Marowak in Pokémon Go for those trainers looking to add them to their collection. Currently, Pokémon Go is hosting its Season of Alola event. It's been active for the last few months and would introduce smaller events, each with its own new Pokémon and bonuses. With the Season of Alola scheduled to conclude on June 1st, it's time for the final event to bring it all together.
The Alola To Alola event will take place from Wednesday, May 25th to May 31st. Throughout the season, trainers have been tasked with clearing four different types of Alolan-themed Special Research Tasks. Trainers who have completed them all will be given access to the final Special Research Task once the event begins for free. Those who didn't clear them all before June 1st will be able to purchase these tasks from the shop for $4.99 USD.

The best opportunity to capture an Alolan Marowak will be during the Alola To Alola event. For the Special Research for this event, trainers will need to choose their own adventure out of four potential paths. These paths are Melemele, Akala, Ula'Ula, and Poni, and each one represents a different island from the Alola region. Trainers looking to capture Alolan Marowak in Pokémon Go will need to choose the Akala Island path. These challenges will focus on capturing a certain amount of Pokémon or performing specific throws. Clearing them all will provide 1 Incense, 1 Incubator, 1 Super Incubator, an Oricorio Hat Avatar Item, and an encounter with Alolan Marowak. It also has the chance to appear in its Shiny form.
Not only that, but during this event, any Cubone that is captured can be evolved into an Alolan Marowak.
