You already know what we’re here to talk about: Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Not too long after its reveal, we now have a good idea of what the next Pokemon generation will look like - and it’s pretty exciting. Co-op, an open world, hot professors, new pokemon, hot professors… it has it all.
However, it wasn’t all about the next gen this week. We also have a bit of Pokemon Unite news, for those of you still grinding away on the MOBA. All of that and more in this week’s Pokemon news round-up.

Where to even begin? This week’s Pokemon Direct gave us a whole lot of information about the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, including its release date: November 18, 2022. It will be open world from the very start, and the region can be explored as a team in four-player co-op. Undertale creator Toby Fox has composed several pieces of music for the game, returning from Pokemon Sword & Shield. And of course, we got a look at the new legendaries. They look a little penis-y, but apparently that’s on purpose.
The Pokemon Company really loves giving us hot professors, huh? The last bunch have all been pretty fit, and it’s been so consistent that there’s just no way it’s a coincidence at this point. They saw how much we embarrassed ourselves over Willow, they know what they’re doing. Well, Scarlet & Violet is giving us not one, but two hotties to guide us through the world of Pokemon. As our own Jade King put it, this is a nightmare for bisexuals. There’s already a fan theory that they’ll actually be the villains. But I don’t care, they have my support regardless.
