Since God of War released on PC, fans have seen plenty of incredible mods. While The Simpsons entering Norse Mythology was certainly interesting, the internet has had even more fun with a recent battle between Master Chief and Kratos.
Though gamers have been able to make Master Chief fight Kratos within Fortnite, as both characters are available as purchasable skins within the item shop, only so much can be done within Epic’s battle royale game. Fortunately, those hoping for a more visceral fight are in luck, as they can now see Kratos battle Master Chief within the latest God of War game. John 117 and the Ghost of Sparta had a brutal battle through this mod, with Master Chief replacing Baldur. Now, this mod has evolved.
God of War PC Port Gets Update
While many fans enjoyed seeing Kratos have a proper clash with Master Chief, modders are continuing to swap out character models to create some more interesting fight scenes. The latest mod sees none other than the Doom Slayer ripping and tearing his way through the Nine Realms, with Master Chief in Kratos’ shoes and Doom’s protagonist taking Baldur’s place. The mod in question used models made by Omega Fantasy and MarcosRC, with the video that showcases the battle coming from lolmetwice.
While hearing the characters talk like Kratos and Baldur is a bit off-putting, the modders put an effect over their voices to make them a bit more accurate. As many will remember, the first major boss fight in God of War does an excellent job of putting Baldur’s power on full display, as he lands several big hits on Kratos.
