How To Find (& Use) Soul Shards in V Rising
Soul Shards are large Castle Structures in V Rising that can be placed into one's base to provide an individual or clan a unique buff. These buffs include boosted resistances to environmental dangers like sunlight or enhanced physical capabilities such as faster resource gathering. To acquire these Soul Shards, Vampire adventurers will need a device known as the Eye of Twilight for their Castle in V Rising.
The Eye of Twilight is a Dominance Structure found in the Production tab of the Build Menu that reveals the location of the three Soul Shards in Vardoran. A Soul Shard icon's position on the map can change depending on whether a player has taken the shard back to their Castle. To build the Eye of Twilight, Vampire of V Rising will need to reach the eighteenth Journal Quest of the main campaign, "Soul Stones." This quest becomes available once players have constructed a Vampire Throne and used it to command their Servant thralls. Afterward, the Eye of Twilight's Recipe will become claimable.

To construct the Eye of Twilight, Vampires must procure Gold Ingot ×4 and Spectral Dust ×4. Gold Ingots can be smelted at a Furnace once players have defeated Azariel the Sunbringer, a Level 68 V Blood Carrier in V Rising, located in the Brighthaven Cathedral of Silverlight Hills. A single Ingot costs Sulphur ×8 and Golden Jewelry ×8. Sulphur comes from Sulphur Ore found throughout Farbane Woods and Silverlight Hills, and Golden Jewelry is primarily acquired as loot from the four districts of Brighthaven.
