For that reason, GOG.com is becoming more popular these days, and it's just been announced that Sega has now joined the site, bringing with it Alien: Isolation, which is currently on sale for a lofty discount.
A quick look at the GOG storefront shows that while there are good deals on a number of games, horror fans may be interested to learn that Creative Assembly's Alien: Isolation is currently 75% off. At the time of writing, players can purchase the game, along with all seven of its DLC, for just $14. The offer is part of the GOG Summer Sale, which is ongoing until June 27. Fans can also pick up the 1998 point-and-click horror adventure title Sanitarium for free while they're at it.

Sega is the publisher behind the 2014 Alien entry, which has gone down as one of the most terrifying horror games in recent history, replete with jump scares and an intense atmosphere. Not only that, but Alien: Isolation may have single-handedly saved video game adaptations of the classic films. Even with the massively poor reception of Aliens: Colonial Marines, which only came out a year before Isolation, Creative Assembly was able to show the world just how a true love letter to Ridley Scott and Dan O'Bannon's original 1979 sci-fi film should be done.
