The ability to fast travel is one of the core components of traversing the massive map of Diablo Immortal. Like any other MMO title with an open world to explore and hunt down enemies, having the option to instantly go from one point to another is highly beneficial to players, allowing them to save a great deal of time on their adventure. While there may be some, who oppose that Diablo Immortalor any game contains fast travel, traversing from one city to another on foot can become a massive time sink when there's so much that needs to be done.
Accordingly, Diablo Immortal features a fast travel system using landmarks known as Waypoints. These landmarks are characterized as small circular platforms with a glowing rune symbol in their center. Three braziers burning with an arcane blue flame surround the rune, making the platform moderately distinguishable in the environment. To interact with a Waypoint, players can approach one and select it to open their local map, allowing them to fast travel to another Waypoint in the zone. Of course, players are not limited to any region and can be transported to any Waypoint they wish.

Physically interacting with Waypoints in Diablo Immortal is not the only method of conducting this fast travel method. Diablo Immortal players can also open their map by selecting the minimap in the upper-left corner of the screen.
