The launch of New World saw impressive visuals, enjoyable combat, and much more. However, a lot of players decided to throw in the towel when the amount of bugs, a lack of content, and many other issues became apparent. In fact, the game lost half of its player base in just over a month. However, there is a lot to look forward to for remaining players, as a content roadmap was recently revealed. While we wait for the new content, Prime Gaming subscribers can claim a New World drop. This will grant you a new skin and some Marks of Fortune.
As New World is developed by Amazon Games, it is no surprise that there is a Prime Gaming drop for its title. With Prime Gaming in April, you can get the Vested Harmonizer skin, which is orange in color, and a brown hat with a teal decoration. In addition, you will receive 5,000 Marks of Fortune added to your account. Take your Marks to the in-game store to get even more New World cosmetics.
To claim your New World Prime Gaming drops, you will have to visit the Prime Gaming website. Then, click on the Vested Harmonizer pack and sign in to your account which will need to have an active Prime Gaming subscription. Once you have done this, follow the instructions on screen to link your Steam account. You will be redirected back to the Prime Gaming page to claim your rewards. The next time you play New World, you should find your items in your inventory.
The New World Prime Gaming page indicates that there are three further drops that will be available soon. Make sure you keep an eye out for more opportunities to get yourself some free cosmetics. If you are a new or returning player, check out our guides to gain the upper hand.
