The Saints Row reboot introduces players to the brand-new city of Santo Ileso. While the gameplay and the story have proven quite controversial, the brand-new city is a breath of fresh air after multiple games took place in the streets of Steelport. It marks the third city in the Saints Row franchise, and there is something very special about this new locale.
Santo Ileso joins the cities of Stilwater and Steelport, but it brings something new to the table that really helps the reboot stand on its own. The city is not a sprawling cityscape filled with close quarters buildings and masses of people. Instead, Santo Ileso feels more akin to a small town in the country complete with its very own country music radio station. It still offers a fun playground for players to cause mayhem in, but Deep Silver chose to craft a new city unlike any other in the franchise.

Stilwater was the first city in the Saints Row franchise, and is where the Third Street Saints first began. The first Saints Row introduced a version of Stilwater that was composed of 15 different districts, and Saints Row 2 significantly expanded the size of the city to 22 districts. Each district was dominated by different gangs, and players had to do their best to kick out these rivals to grow the power of the Third Street Saints.
