A Genshin Impact fan has shared an interesting glitch that got them stuck in the recently added Sumeru region. The game's frequent update schedule allows HoYoverse to constantly add new explorable terrain.
After numerous requests from the community, developer HoYoverse decided to introduce Teyvat's first desert in Genshin Impact update 3.1 which quickly became a fan-favorite. With such a large world at their disposal, Genshin Impact players had to run into a couple of glitches in their adventure through the world of Teyvat.

Reddit user Superior_Lancers has shared a hilarious video showing a glitch in which their Raiden Shogun is stuck in the terrain which gives the impression that the new deserts have quicksand. The game does not allow the player to swap to other characters in the video which makes the glitch look even more realistic. Raiden Shogun tried to jump her way out of the glitch but all of her escape attempts were far from successful. Other Genshin Impact players jokingly pointed out that this had to be a very stressful experience for Raiden Shogun since she is so far from home, a lush archipelagic region known as Inazuma.
Raiden Shogun serves as the Electro Archon and the protector of the Inazuma islands which were the main place of action in the previous major update. She is one of the most popular characters in Genshin Impact who still holds multiple records when it comes to banner revenue. Even though the new Dendro element shifted the character meta, Raiden Shogun remained an S-tier pick for most types of team compositions in the game.
