It is no secret that Marvel’s Spider-Man was a massive game, and as is the case with any large release, it had its share of cut content. Originally, the Doc Ock boss fight was meant to be far more over-the-top, with the battle taking place across the entire city. Ultimately, this was scrapped to avoid crunch, with the fight being adjusted so that it takes place on one skyscraper instead.
The Spider-Cop suit is another Marvel's Spider-Man idea that never saw the light of day, possibly due to controversy surrounding real life instances of police brutality. With all the Spider-Cop jokes staying in the game, though, and Spidey having a close relationship with Yuri Watanabe, it is a bit disappointing that this payoff never came. Fortunately, those on PC can access a version of this unreleased attire, patrolling the streets as the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Cop.

Restored by a user named Sirgalahad172 and showcased in a YouTube video from sebanatic5000, the costume looks just like the one fans have been hoping to use for years.
