The latest update for Horizon Forbidden West is available to download now.
Version 1.23 contains more than 40 bug fixes for the main game and its Burning Shores expansion.
One notable fix includes an issue where players weren’t able to travel between the Burning Shores and Forbidden West areas on a flying mount at certain parts of the border.
Other fixes have been made to quest bugs, world activities, side quests, machines, weapons and skills, among other things.
Horizon Forbidden West’s Burning Shores expansion, which was released last month, sees Aloy travel to the ruins of Los Angeles in order to track down information about the ancient progenitor race that Aloy battled in the main game.
The DLC was ‘review bombed’ on Metacritic with negative scores as a response to an optional plot point that lets players choose to have protagonist Aloy kiss the female hero Seyka.
Metacritic spoke out against the “abusive and disrespectful reviews”, and said: “We are currently evolving our processes and tools to introduce stricter moderation in the coming months.”
