There are a lot of outfits available in Horizon Forbidden West, and while many of them can be obtained from certain merchants as you progress, others will be rewards or loot found throughout the world. Here is every outfit we have found in the game, and how you can get them.
The order of the outfits has been in the general order found in a complete playthrough. As such, outfits you may only be able to receive or find later on will be further down the list.
A few outfits are also variations of others - in color, stats, and rarity. The outfits can be dyed at a dye merchant in the world.
Warning: The final outfit on this list - after Tenakth Sky Climber - could be considered a spoiler. There is a warning before it.
It is worth noting that, while each outfit has base stats and slots for weaves (stat boosts), they can be upgraded further at a workbench - to an extent. That being said, any armor is viable, but you may want to pay more attention to the resistances and buffs on higher difficulties.
This outfit is the default outfit Aloy will have at the start of the game. It is reminiscent of the Shield-Weaver armor found in Horizon Zero Dawn, though does not have any stand-out functionality. It offers protection against shock and acidic attacks.
The Oseram Explorer outfit can be first found and purchased from the outfit merchant in Chainscrape. It offers decent protection against melee and acidic attacks.
