After passing through the Capital city of Leyndell in Elden Ring, players will eventually find their way to the snowy region called the Mountaintops of the Giants. Here, players will see all sorts of dangerous beasts, like frost-covered giants, and even some huge enemies from the past that have been frozen solid. Before players reach the «end» of the area, however, they'll have to fight against a required boss called the Fire Giant. The boss has two phases and has lots of HP to whittle down. After it's defeated once and for all, Elden Ring players can cross a frozen chain bridge to the north that leads to the Forge of the Giants.
The Forge of the Giants doesn't have much of anything for players to interact with. There are no enemies to fight, no rare items to unlock, and no crafting materials to loot. At first glance, some players might assume that they need to find a way down into the lower level of the volcano-esque area, but trying that will lead players to their demise. There's no way to get inside the middle of the Forge of the Giants without dying and losing Runes. Upon reaching Forge of the Giants, players should walk across the left side of the ring until they reach the Site of Lost Grace. Once players sit down at the «save point,» they should choose the option that says, «Talk to Melina.» From here, she'll ask players whether they're ready to commit a sin. She'll give players two choices: "I'm ready," or «I'll like you to wait.»
