Looking for how to earn Undying Starlight in Honkai: Star Rail? Undying Starlight is a currency accrued in HoYoverse's turnbased RPG when you pull on banners, or Warp as it's known in the game. You can spend it in the in-game store on Star Rail Passes and Star Rail Special Passes, as well as on 4-Star Characters and 5-Star Light Cones. On this page, as part of our Honkai: Star Rail guide, we're going to explain how to earn Undying Starlight.
You'll earn a denomination of Undying Starlight each time you Warp, or pull on banners. While the exact amount does vary depending on the banner and promotion, you'll generally get 8 Undying Starlight for each 4-Star Character you pull, up until you've maxed out their Eidolon, at which point any further duplicates will earn you 20 Undying Starlight onwards. Similarly, you'll get 40 Undying Starlight for each 5-Star Character you pull, up until you've maxed out their Eidolon, at which point any further duplicates will earn you 100 Undying Starlight onwards. And finally, any 5-Star Light Cones you pull will earn you 40 Undying Starlight and any 4-Star Light Cones will earn you 8 Undying Starlight.
You can then exchange Undying Starlight in the Starlight Exchange of the in-game store for a variety of rewards, most notably Star Rail Passes and Star Rail Special Passes at 20 Undying Starlight apiece. There will also always be two 4-Star Characters at 140 Undying Starlight and several 5-Star Light Cones at 600 Undying Starlight available, although these will rotate on a monthly basis.
