With the time between now and the holiday season dwindling, some fans have been understandably worried about a potential delay for Hogwarts Legacy.
However, it seems Warner Bros. Interactive and Avalanche Software are full steam ahead for Hogwarts Legacy's release. A recent leak seemingly specifies its release date as December 6, which is believable for a number of reasons.

Over on Amazon, Hogwarts Legacy has had a December 31, 2022, placeholder release window in place. This is commonplace ahead of any official announcements, and while that remains true as of this writing, Hogwarts Legacy's art book, titled The Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacy: Exploring the Unwritten Wizarding World, has an updated release window (as seemingly first reported by VGC). This date was changed from December 31 to December 6, a Tuesday, as reported by customers who pre-ordered the art book at Amazon UK. Not only would this change be odd if it were still a placeholder date, but placeholder dates often fall at the end of a month or quarter. Furthermore, most video game releases come out on a Tuesday or a Friday, lining this up perfectly as the date.
