Hogwarts Legacy is still tentatively scheduled to release sometime this holiday, but as that window draws nearer without a concrete release date to look forward to, fans have become skeptical about whether that window will be fulfilled.
Recently, Hogwarts Legacy may have received a potentially substantial leak from Amazon’s UK retailer. The retailer now lists a compendium art book titled The Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacy: Exploring the Unwritten Wizarding World that is available for pre-order. Notably, the art book has now been spotted with a release date of December 6 on the UK version of the site. This has prompted fans to believe that the game will officially release then in tandem with the book, and there are multiple parallels that support this release date from another art book compendium being released from Insight Editions.

The most significant evidence thus far that Hogwarts Legacy’s release date is indeed December 6 is due to Gotham Knights, another Warner Bros. Interactive and WB Games property. Gotham Knights’ Official Collector’s Compendium releases on the same day as the game, October 25, and its pre-order listing on Amazon correctly corresponds with this information.
