The choices you're given when creating your Wand are purely cosmetic; they don't affect gameplay in any way. Because of that, it's not possible to name a Best Wand because they're all just as good as each other. This is all about designing a Wand you like the look of and leaving the act of gaining power to level-ups and new Spell unlocks. Pick whatever you think looks best for your Witch or Wizard.
Now you know there is not a Best Wand to be had from Ollivanders, you can customise your spell caster across three different options. Below are explanations of them all.
Once you've customised and created your Wand at Ollivanders during the Welcome to Hogsmeade chapter, you cannot change your Wand. Your choices are locked in place for the rest of the game. The only way to get a new Wand would be to start a new playthrough from the Main Menu.
