After years of trailers, leaks, and other information, Elden Ring is finally available to players. Between overwhelmingly positive critic reviews pre-launch and many positive player reviews so far, Elden Ring is sure to be a frontrunner for many 2022 game of the year awards.
With Bandai Namco addressing the performance issues affecting Elden Ring PC players, soon there may not be many negatives left for the game. However, considering the game's triple-A price tag of $60 and an even more expensive deluxe edition, some players are still undecided on whether they wish to purchase the game.

However, recently YouTuber Joel Haver created an animation that functions as a comedic advertisement for the game, delving into some wackier NPCs and situations one may find in the game. The video is hilarious from start to finish, depicting conversations between NPCs, interactions between NPCs and the player, and some other funny moments such as knocking Lord Alexander (the giant pot monster) out of his hole.
Haver's take on NPCs in the game was nothing short of inspired, especially considering the limited information he was given to work with. The first skit, depicting 3 soldiers conversing about wall heights and the inability to scale a chest-high wall was a perfect setup for the player character to jump over the group using Torrent (the player's mount). The bit concerning an NPC's thoughtful help being ignored perfectly describes the hard-headed nature of many Souls players.
