Hideo Kojima Announces An Exclusive Xbox Game Is In The Works

Hideo Kojima has announced that he and Kojima Productions are working on a new Xbox console exclusive that will utilise the publisher's cloud-based technology for a never-before-seen type of game. While a release date and title weren't actually announced, we do know that Kojima is likely referring to Overdose, a new horror game that was leaked earlier this month.

All eyes were on a potential Death Stranding 2 announcement before Summer Game Fest aired, but an unexpected leak from industry insider Tom Henderson revealed that Overdose was in production. A later tweet by Henderson revealed that Kojima Productions had allegedly asked him to take the leak down, adding more concrete evidence to the leak. We now know that the game is very likely to be an Xbox exclusive and that it will somehow implement cloud technology.
