The official full-length trailer for Netflix’s upcoming LGBTQ+ romantic comedy series Heartstopper is finally here. The upcoming Netflix show is an adaptation of Alice Oseman’s popular YA webcomic of the same name, which sees the unlikely friendship between British teenagers Charlie Spring and Nick Nelson blossom after the two must sit by each other in class one day. Heartstopper the comic dove into the two teens' love story as they attempted to navigate their lives, their new love, coming out, and every twist and turn in-between.
Netflix has revealed the official Heartstopper trailer. The emotional video takes viewers on the rollercoaster that leading man Charlie rides in an attempt to discover if his secret crush’s feelings match his. Check out the trailer below:

From joining the school’s rugby team to highlighting the human desire to simply fit in, Heartstopper is already proving to be an emotional coming-of-age story that audiences won't want to miss. This series has the potential to really fit in with Netflix's other romcom efforts, and the dedicated Heartstopper fanbase will likely be thrilled to see Charlie and Nick come to the small screen. It looks like the creative team has retained the sweet spirit of the comics as well.
Joe Locke and Kit Connor will be playing Charlie and Nick, with Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, and William Gao also among the Heartstopper cast. Season 1 is comprised of eight episodes written by Oseman herself, with Euros Lyn in the director’s chair. Audiences can dive into the romantic coming-of-age story that is Heartstopper when the first season arrives next week.
