After launching earlier than expected, fans have had plenty of time to work through the first season for Halo Infinite multiplayer. It can be said that following the beta period prior to the game's official December 7 launch last year, 343 Industries has learned a lot about the game and those that play it. Halo Infinite has seen plenty of changes over these past few months, adding new limited timed events like Cyber Showdown as well as updates for various bugs and issues.
Through this evolution, there has been plenty of growing pains for the community, especially with how Halo Infinite handles microtransactions with its in-game store. The extended season, numerous technical issues and lack of meaningful content updates have left many in theHalo Infinite community frustrated and out of patience. 343 Industries is well aware of how the community is feeling, with community manager Brian Jarrard acknowledging the state of the game and asking fans for more time.

Help may soon be on the horizon as 343 Industries has started to reveal more details for the rapidly approaching second season of Halo Infinite multiplayer called Lone Wolves. The new season features a new story component focusing on a group of Spartan warriors called the Lone Wolves. In addition to the cinematics, the multiplayer side of Halo Infinite is getting plenty of new content as well including a new Battle Pass, two new maps, and a slew of new game modes.
