With fixes to Big Team Battle and the Battle Pass, the developers at 343 Industries are taking the steps to make Halo Infinite the best game it can be. However, the game still has a number of issues, and one player brought up a connection-based problem that Halo Infinite suffers from.
While players and critics alike praise Halo Infinite for its gameplay, many players are taking to forums to address a number of issues present in the game. One problem in particular is Halo Infinite not accurately displaying what is happening to a player on-screen in a given moment, known as desync.
Halo Infinite Tactical Ops Game Modes Leak
One player took to Reddit under the username HackingSpartan to show off a nine-second video clip of how bad Halo Infinite's desync problem is. In this video clip, the player runs into a nearby building, coming across an opponent in the process. However, when HackingSparta fires at the opponent's head, none of the shots deal any damage. In a quick turn of events, the opponent turns to and pummels HackSpartan to death before entering another gunfight. What makes this video intriguing is the fact that HackingSpartan ping was less than 10ms during the entire clip, highlighting Halo Infinite's unreliable connectivity.
Halo Infinite's connection problems are not new. In fact, Halo Infinite suffers from server outages, and often times, those outages cause players to lose their XP boosts or lose ranks in the Ranked playlist.
