However, Bandai Namco is making a bigger splash since it is now bringing the free-to-play hero shooter to other territories and systems. will make its way to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One as well as PC sometime in 2022.
The six-on-six hero shooter will launch with 12 playable characters (which are explained in the trailer at the bottom) and three modes: Point Capture, Domination, and Destruction. All 12 characters from the series will have a variety of offensive, defensive, and supportive skills as well as what appears to be an ultimate ability.
There are two currencies in the game — Capital Points and EVO Coins — and both are tied to cosmetics. Capital Points can be earned through gameplay, while EVO Coins can be purchased with real money. There will also be season passes that will include even more accessories, skins, weapon skins, and weapon charms.
A closed networktest will take place on PC from April 7 to April 12 if players visit the Steam page from March 9 to March 28. A console test will take place in the future at an unknown date.
Even though the monetization and business model are quite different, bears a significant resemblance to. The HUD and character selection screen are eerily similar, down to the presentation of the kill feed in the top right, elimination pop-ups, and look of the health, ultimate, and ability icons.
