The sprawling, cel-shaded map of this game is jam-packed with secrets to uncover, with several BOTW NPCs hiding mysteries of their own.
Since its release five years ago, Breath of the Wild continues to amaze its fanbase with its wealth of strange, hidden details. These particulars can be connected to the gameplay, as the combat and puzzle mechanics of the game rely heavily on a robust physics system that can be manipulated by magic. Perhaps more common than the gameplay secrets, however, are the secrets of BOTW's world; the tranquil, vast land of Hyrule consists of colossal mountain ranges, verdant fields, lush jungles, and a few small towns and villages. While NPCs are sparse, they are typically overflowing with personality and can sometimes offer unique quests or services to Link. These merchants and quest-givers can be found all throughout the game's massive world, even appearing in BOTW's fiery Eldin Region.

The beloved NPC merchant Beedle much more nomadic than the game's other merchants, but Reddit user ThornyFox found a unique way to reunite him with his people. In a video shared on the Breath of the Wild subreddit, ThornyFox reveals that each instance of Beedle is actually a separate NPC, even though they're all one character. In the clip, Link is shown painstakingly pushing each Beedle to a central inn on the map, with the end result being all four characters in the same place at once.
