Guilty Gear Strive's been a huge success for Arc System Works, both in a critical and commercial sense. Even since its launch last year, Strive has been one of the highest and fasting selling games within its franchise, with the game receiving plenty of post-launch support too. Guilty Gear Strive's first season pass added five DLC characters, featuring a mix of brand-new and returning characters. This season pass consisted of Goldlewis Dickinson, Jack O'Valentine, Happy Chaos, Baiken, and Testament.
Guilty Gear Strive's momentum is still on the upswing, as evidenced by updates such as crossplay between the PS4, PS5, and PC versions of the game. A story mode expansion focused on some of the characters that didn't appear in Guilty Gear Strive's single-player campaign is also set to arrive later this month. On top of all that, Guilty Gear Strive will also be getting a second season pass, with an additional four characters being added.
Guilty Gear Strive Releases Deep Dive on Testament
Shortly after the final character of Guilty Gear Strive's Season Pass 1 DLC was released, a data miner on Twitter known as UltIMA647 had dug through the code to see if there were any pieces of evidence that would point to which character would be next. They did manage to find said evidence with two lines of dialogue between Testament, and a character that isn't part of the game yet.
According to their findings, these are pre-match dialogue lines between Testament and the character known as Sin Kiske. For the uninitiated, Sin Kiske is the son of two Guilty Gear veterans, Ky Kiske and Dizzy, who was raised by Sol Badguy.
