A self-proclaimed Rockstar insider recently alleged that a direct reference to the much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 can be spotted in the Definitive Edition of GTA: San Andreas. This claim adds to the list of speculative information that has been pouring out over the past few months about GTA 6, which is believed to be set in a reimagined version of one of the series' old locations.
While very little official information has been revealed regarding GTA 6, gamers from across the globe have spent the past few years scouring old game files, social media, job listings, and more in attempts to uncover details about the next entry in the illustrious crime series. There are certainly some conflicting accounts, but most fans seem to believe that GTA 6 will be the most expansive game the developer has released, likely taking some hints from 2018's Red Dead Redemption II. The fanbase has seen plenty of fervent discussion about the game's setting as well, with the general consensus being that GTA 6 will likely not take place in Liberty City or San Andreas. Some even believe that multiple cities will be featured in GTA 6.
