Grand Theft Auto Fans Have Theory About GTA 6 Starting Area Based on GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2
One of the most successful games in history, Grand Theft Auto 5 presented millions of players with the opportunity to run wild as a criminal mastermind. Since its release in 2013, however, fans have been wondering when the next installment in the beloved franchise will be completed. While it's safe to assume there won't be any new GTA 6 progress for some time, there have been speculations about where Grand Theft Auto 6 might be located.
Many popular titles from Rockstar Games, likeGrand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, include prologue chapters in their campaigns. Players have noticed a running theme that might, perhaps, provide a clue about the beginning of GTA 6.
GTA 6 Map Hints Revealed by Take-Two Interactive Patent
Reddit user «aisarfadzil77» recently posted some images to the Grand Theft Auto 6 subreddit that highlighted two important moments from previous Rockstar games. In both Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, the prologues start in snowy winter landscapes. With that in mind, it seems plausible that the next big game from Rockstar, Grand Theft Auto 6, might take place in a similar setting at the start of the campaign. While the entirety of the title likely won't take place in a tundra, it could be possible that it begins with a mission in the snow.
Aside from the potential for a snowy start to the next title, there have also been rumors that GTA 6 will take place in Vice City. If true, the city would certainly provide an awesome environment for players to explore on current-gen hardware.
