Google is not great at hiding its strategies and upcoming products from tipsters, and as 2022 comes to an end, someone has leaked the entire launch strategy for Pixel devices until 2025. After the last few silent years post the pandemic, Google is going all-in on the Pixel lineup, releasing new models every few months and even including folding models. Based on a report from Android Authority that claims to get the information from a reliable source, we get to know almost everything Google has planned regarding the Pixel series of devices. All the launches planned between 2023 to 2025 have been detailed. Here is a quick look at all the Pixel phones coming in the next few years.
- In early 2023, Google is likely to reveal the Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold at the I/O 2023. The Pixel 7a will get a 90Hz OLED display, wireless charging, and look largely like the Pixel 7. Not much is known about the Pixel Fold other than its design.
- In October 2023, Google will announce the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. Both phones will be largely similar to the Pixel 7 series but get a new Tensor G3 chip.
- In early 2024, Google could announce the Pixel 8a with a $50 price hike over the Pixel 7a. However, this model is still not confirmed and there is a chance it could be cancelled. We will keep an eye for all the updates.
- The Pixel 9 series is expected in late 2024 with three models. There will be a 6.3-inch Pixel 9, a new 6.3-inch Pixel 9 Pro, and a bigger 6.7-inch Pixel 9 Pro variant. This lineup could emulate Apple's iPhone Pro model lineup. This could allow Google to fill up the gap between the standard and Pro variant. A
