Google unveiled its Google Play Partner Program today as part of its services for large game developers.
Google is holding its Google Games Summit today to talk about the latest features for game developers in the Android operating system and Google Play Store.
The online event is normally held at the Game Developers Conference, but this time Google was unsure whether to hold the event in person, given the unpredictable nature of the pandemic, said Leo Olebe, director of game partnerships at Google Play, in an interview with GamesBeat. The event is taking place today and it will have several hours of content. Greg Hartrell, director of product for Google Play, and Olebe are speaking at the event. During the summit, the Android and Google Play teams will address tools for all parts of the game development lifecycle, whether they are an independent developer or an established studio. Google already has a Indie Game Accelerator program for small devs.

The Google Play Partner Program will provide larger game developers and studios the resources they need to maintain and scale their games (including faster releases, additional tools to help fight scaled abuse, and more).
