Google Chrome is one of the most preferred web browsers globally. Over the years, it has managed to steal a march on Microsoft browsers as well as Mozilla Firefox. It did so by offering a number of standout features and we explain one here. Do you know that Chrome allows you to bookmark pages so that you can easily find them later? You can bookmark those pages in Chrome and interestingly, if you have Chrome linked to your Google account, you can access those bookmarks on any device via the Chrome web browser. That’s not all, you can even access those bookmarked pages on another web browser or on a device where you can’t log into your Google account with some easy and simple tricks. Here’s how you can do it.
Step 1: Open Google Chrome on your PC and head to the menu or three dots icon in the top right corner of the browser.
Step 2: Next, click Bookmarks and then select Bookmark Manager.
Step 3: Again, click on the three vertical dots and select Export Bookmarks.
Step 4: Tap on the Save As menu and browse the location where you want to export your bookmarks. Enter a name for the file and set the “Type” to HTML document.
Step 5: Click on Save and it’s done.
Though Google Chrome does not allow users to export bookmarks on Android phones or iPhone, you can use Chrome’s sync feature to do the same. Here’s how you can do it
Step 1: Open Chrome on your Android device and go to menu
Step 2: Select Settings and tap on Sync.
Step 3: Set the slider to the On to sync everything, and tick the boxes next to the pages you want to sync..
Step 4: Then head to your PC and open Chrome settings
Step 5: Select Bookmark and then Bookmark Manager
Step 6: Select Export Bookmarks from the menu and name your bookmarks export file.
Step 7: Choose the location
