News on the production status and potential release date for Ginny& Georgia season 2 has arrived. The Netflix dramedy focuses on high-schooler Ginny Miller (Antonia Gentry) and her seemingly carefree, vivacious young mother, Georgia (Brianne Howey), as they relocate to a New England town after the death of Ginny's stepfather. Diesel La Torraca, Jennifer Robertson, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Scott Porter, and Raymond Ablack round out the cast of Ginny & Georgia, with Katie Douglas, Chelsea Clark, and Nathan Mitchell appearing in key recurring roles.
Although Ginny & Georgia season 1 enjoyed substantial streaming viewership, critics' reviews were more or less lukewarm. Now, however, TVLine has offered an update on the production situation for Ginny & Georgia season 2. As the site notes, the show has already wrapped up filming for season 2, and it's now looking for a spot on Netflix's calendar to return to the screens. There is hope that Ginny & Georgia will return later this year, although an official confirmation is still required.
