PlayStation Plus subscribers received 4 games in March and many considered it to be one of the best lineups in recent months. PS Plus members are currently able to download Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, ARK: Survival Evolved, Ghostrunner, and Team Sonic Racing at no extra cost. On March 15, they can also add the PS5 version of Grand Theft Auto Online to their accounts if they redeem it within the first 3 months of its launch.
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is a co-op mode that got added to the base game after its launch. Some fans saw itbeing labeled as “Trial,” but Sony had updated its PlayStation Store description to clarify that everyone would get the full version of the game. The store description states that players should go ahead and complete the redemption process. Unfortunately, it looks like redeeming the PS Plus version of Ghost of Tsushima: Legendslocks players out of an upgrade.

This error was first reported by ResetEra users. It looks like anyone who adds the PlayStation Plus version of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends to their library will not be able to purchase the PS5 upgrade for Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. This version includes the Iki Island DLC, and it also comes with a few new features. Players who own the base PS4 version of Ghost of Tsushima first had to upgrade to the Director’s Cut, and they could then upgrade to the PS5 version for a total of $30.
Upon redeeming the PS Plus edition, players will not be able to use the cheaper upgrade option for the PS4 version of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, which subsequently locks them out of the PS5 upgrade. The store's back end considers the co-op mode to be a part of the Director’s Cut
