Get ready BGMI players! Spider-Man themed content comes out TODAY

Battleground Mobile India or BGMI’s January update will come to the users today. This new update will bring a wide range of changes to the game. One of the main inclusion for the popular battle royal styled game will be Spider-Man: No Way Home themed content. This update will mark the first partnership of game’s publisher Krafton with Sony Pictures. Other changes include gameplay optimisation for android and iOS platforms as well as improvements in weapon handling.

The Battleground Mobile India update is scheduled to be released today, January 14, 2022 but android and iOS users will receive it at different times, according to Krafton. Android users can expect to receive the update between 12:30 PM and 8 PM IST, while iOS users will be able to download it at 4:30 PM IST. Although the size of the update remains unspecified at the time, it is recommended that users download it through a stable WiFi connection.

While there is no official changelog for the Battleground Mobile India’s January update, BGMI has been releasing sneak peaks of the update. The update will most likely feature a new supply shop for gamers that they can use to purchase supplies using currency from the maps. The update will also bring the ability to bring back an eliminated teammate in some particular maps and game modes.

However, probably the most exciting part of the update will be Spider-Man: No Way Home themed content. Battleground Mobile India players will get special Spider-Man themed flight path intro animation, along with special items like web bombs and web traps (web slingers).
